Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy covers every purchase made on ReelCaps — one-time credit packs and auto-renewing subscriptions — all of which are processed by Razorpay.
1. All sales are final
Purchases on ReelCaps are not refundable. Please review the plan details, video-length limits and your first 2 free exports before buying — the free tier exists precisely so you can evaluate caption quality on your own videos at no cost.
2. Subscription cancellation
Subscriptions (Lite, Creator, Pro — monthly or yearly) renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, instantly, from your Account page — no calls, no emails, no notice period. After cancelling you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made. The paid period itself is not refunded (see section 1).
3. Failed exports
If an export fails for any reason, the credit or monthly quota it consumed is returned to your balance automatically and instantly. This is a service credit, not a monetary refund — you never lose paid usage to a technical failure on our side.
4. Payment errors
The single exception to the no-refund rule: if you were charged twice for the same purchase, or money was debited without the purchase being delivered to your account, the erroneous amount is refunded to your original payment method via Razorpay (typically 5–7 business days), in line with RBI norms for failed digital transactions. Contact us within 7 days with your Razorpay payment id.
